Quercus Vineyard Pinot Noir 2009

Produced from John Ellis’s close-planted, dry grown vineyard; the colour and clarity is beyond reproach, although on the light side. This is a wine of finesse, but more than that, shows how pinot that initially appears light-bodied, can and does expand dramatically on the finish and aftertaste, here with a mix of berries and bramble characters.
