From a dry-grown vineyard, the wine spends 1 year in French oak, 15% new. A touch forward in colour and taste, yet sweet fruit and exotic spices flood the medium – bodied palate. There’s rhubarb, sweet-sour cherries, menthol, a lemony astringency and sinewy tannins. Rating 92
