ESTATE Pinot Noir 2016
Review by Campbell Mattinson – www.winefront.com
A bright, expressive pinot noir. Ready to rip right now it is too. Orange rind, strawberry and red cherry flavours lead the charge before slightly darker fruits fold in. Undergrowth too perhaps. Eager to please. Spice notes through the finish and soft, unobtrusive tannin.

There's a suppleness and ease to this with the red fruits doing the talking. Plenty of spice, iodine and earthy tones; the medium-bodied palate is giving with tannins just there. Ready to go.

Great depth in this Gippsland Pinot, with a concentration that you see in dry-grown vineyards (and I love). Some whole bunch spice and a great depth of Bonox mushroom raspberry flavour. Long too. It’s only medium bodied, but perfectly so.
Tasty now and should be at a peak for at least four years. Would I buy it? Yes.
